THIS WEEK’S THEME : Composite Art
Composite Art can refer to a number of different art styles and techniques, including:
Composite Figures
Art that depicts a figure that is made up of parts from different creatures, such as humans, animals, birds, or dinosaurs. This style is common in Indian and Persian art.
Composite Poses
A pose that combines two or more viewpoints into a single representation. This style is common in ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern art, and often depicts a figure with their head, hips, legs, and feet turned to the side, but their torso facing forward.
Composite Photorealism
A technique that involves combining different parts of various images and photos to create a new artwork. For example, an artist might blend and layer images of individual plants with tree canopies and the sky to create a jungle scene
